So Spring is here and usually the time we all have “new beginnings.” Of course, New Years brings that feeling along as well – but Whatever, just humor me for a minute. Napkin pirates, typically, value this whole Spring thing because it gives us reason to try something new. So yesterday, I sat, and I thought, and thought, and thought. What new thing could I try this year. Ah- Ha! I’ve got it. There’s this Napkin Pirates recreational center downtown and they offer ballet classes. That’s what I’ll try.
I know you are all thinking, what the hell is a napkin pirate doing taking ballet. Well, it’s relaxing. It’ll calm my nerves, it’ll make me more “rounded.” All those reasons push me to want to try. However, please note, you will never see this napkin pirate or any of the other napkin pirates in a tutu. We have to keep that tough exterior. But we will wear tiaras because they are pretty and napkin pirates love being pretty.
I’ll keep you guys posted. There is a napkin pirates ballet recital every year. Maybe if I am good enough, I’ll be in it and you will all be invited. But first, let’s see how this first ballet lesson goes and I’ll get back to you.
